Applications for the Community Service camp have come to a close. Please be at St John's at 08:00, Monday 23rd August. The bus will be back on Thursday 26th at 16:30. Bring clothes that can get dirty, and gloves to protect your hands if you are a 'city slicker'! :-) We will provide Environmental, Social, and Physical Community Service.

| Farewell Mr Director!Kloofwaters is saying farewell to Graham Irish, who leaves us at the end of June. Graham has been instrumental in bringing many innovative ideas to our team, and has given us a fresh look at providing Excellence in Outdoor Education.
Graham is taking up a wonderful opportunity in the corporate world, and we wish him and his family well for the future.
The good news is that Steve Carter is stepping up to the plate as Acting Director. Steve is greatly respected by those in our team, and everybody who has ever worked with him. We look forward to growing in leaps and bounds under his leadership!

An outdoor centre with a difference
Where are we? What do we do?
Kloofwaters is an outdoor centre with a difference, set in a beautiful, tranquil wilderness area, only 100 km from Johannesburg or Pretoria. It is an ideal venue for a wide variety of camp programmes. The 300 hectare property includes small game, spectacular rock formations and kloofs, wonderful bird-life and interesting Tswana Iron-Age ruins. A clear mountain stream flows through the lower part of the property, with pools for swimming and sliding, and four small dams. Opportunities abound for hiking, bird-watching, climbing and exploring.
Who do we cater for?
At Kloofwaters we accommodate children and teenagers from grade 3 through to post-matric, with a variety of programmes from adventure camps and leadership camps to curricular educational camps. Each program is tailor made to each of our clients needs with the emphasis always being on experiential learning.
Church groups also make use of the wonderful facility for various weekend camps.
